Cape Range NP lies on a peninsula forming the North West Cape of WA. A low range forms the backbone of the peninsula, levelling off towards the coast. Almost touching the coast, a large barrier reef, the Ningaloo reef, is protected by the Ningaloo Marine Park. Above the view into Yardie Creek Gorge, the largest gorge cutting into the Cape Range.
