You don't need to be an experienced mountain climber to climb Cradle Mountain, but you should be quite fit. The walk starts at a parking lot, visible as a white circle on the far side of Lake Dove, seen above from the path to the top of Cradle Mountain. It will take you one full day, but, if the weather is clear, you will enjoy excellent views over the Tasmanian highland.
