Dingo on Fraser Island

Fraser Island is famous for its dingoes, said to be whiter than dingoes from other parts of Australia. Dingoes are descendands of early domesticated dogs, brought to Australia about 5'000 years ago. On the island, a number of dingo incidents have happened in the past, even one deadly one. When encountering them, it is important to keep in mind that they are wild animals, and to avoid attracting them with food.
