Hobart - Fire Station

The Hobart Fire Station on Argyle Street, completed in 1925, shows that at that time, there were still architects with a feeling for style, not yielding to the pressure for uniformity. Sometimes it pays to be a backwater...   There seems to be a small museum inside the building, and an exhibition of fire engines adjoined to the Tasmanian Transport Museum - the authors haven't visited those, would be happy to get feedback on them from travellers interested in fire engines & equipment.
