Cockatoo lagoon is about 3 km from the park entrance. As it is filled with water also in the dry season, many birds and animals can be found here. In addition to the spoonbills and storks, we saw pelicans, egrets, ducks, herons and also a monitor lizard swimming through the lagoon.

The windmill above comes from a time when the park was a farm station.
