Lamington National Park is a bit further away from the coast, with cool rainforests, excellent walks (including a treetop walk near O'Reilly's Guesthouse, shown above, viewed from a tree-based lookout) and great views over the forests and valleys.  Expect to see many birds, like brush turkeys and parrots, in the area!
