Noosa Heads is part of the Noosa area, with Noosa itself and Noosaville and other towns. Driving around in the area is slightly disorientating, not only because of these like-named towns, but also because it strives to be the world capital of roundabouts...

In addition to the beaches, the two major attractions of the area are the small but scenic Noosa Heads National Park and the Bottle Museum, not only displaying an infinite variety of bottles, but also partly consisting of them.
