"Sydney to Eden" is the name of a map of the southern coast of NSW. The poetic title was dictated by the name of the small fishing port of Eden (shown above), the last larger town before the border to Victoria. Large Eucalypt forests and virgin coasts dominate the southern part of that area; the northern part is much more settled. Highway 1, the "Princes Highway" is the main road along the coast. As the traffic between Sydney and Melbourne usually takes the shorter inland route, it is a relaxing drive, at least in the less travelled part south of Wollongong.
