Western Australia is the largest Australian state and almost a continent in itself - the road and train connections to the other states are few and take a long time. The capital Perth is a good starting point for tours to the mediterranean south and the sparsely settled north. We will travel the area in June / July 2008 and hopefully bring home a huge number of photos and good recommendations.
