The track to Purnululu NP is closed in the rainy season, and even in the dry season, there are difficult parts, like above, where 2WD cars cannot pass. But all taken into account, the drive, taking about 3 hours, was very enjoyable. It crosses several low mountain ridges, each time raising hopes that behind the next range one would see the Purnululu range.
