Wattamolla beach in the Royal National Park is a bay where a lagoon filled with freshwater from a small stream is separated from the sea by a sand bank, which makes bathing safe also for children. The beach is easily reachable by car and has a small picknick area. It is also a good starting point for short or long coastal walks.
