For most travellers, Sydney is the gateway to Australia. Australia's largest city lies on the Pacific shore and around the large bay of Sydney Harbour. Sydney has many landmarks, like Harbour Bridge, also called the Coathanger (bottom left), the world-famous Opera House and the Botanical Gardens (center), Circular Quay (a bit below the Botanical Gardens) from where most tour boats and ferries start, and, of course, Downtown Sydney.
