Sydney is surrounded by national parks, and the Sydney Harbour area itself is one. Botany Bay and the Royal National Park in the South (above a view from its spectacular coastline), Ku-ring-gai Chase and its neighbouring parks in the North, and the Blue Mountains area in the West have so much to see that it is easy to spend 1 full vacation month only in the Sydney area.
