Apollo Bay is one of the quieter resorts on the Great Ocean Road, with a "green" touch - a stronghold of Permaculture (a special type of ecologic agriculture) and of excellent Veggie Burgers. Near  Apollo Bay, a road leads into the back country, along Barham Valley, to a small picknick ground called the "Paradise". A short walk takes you into the humid forest, with many fern trees. Not a "must see", but quite nice if you haven't seen the fern trees of Tasmania...
