Following the Yarra River to the west, you reach the town of Healesville and the Yarra Ranges National Park. The road crossing the park, the Maroondah Highway, is called "Black Spur" and is famous for its huge slim Eucalypt trees. It got its name from the Aborigines marching along that way to their exile in a missionary settlement in the vicinity of Healesville. Of course, there is more to see in the Yarra Ranges, for example Mount Donna Buang.
