For visitors interested in natural history, Cape Bridgewater in the Discovery Bay National Park near Portland is a "must see", with quite recent lava flows, a petrified forest, a seal colony and 140m high cliffs - the highest in Victoria. The lava flows above are at Cape Duquesne, some 3 km from Cape Bridgewater itself.
