Up to January 15th, 1990, London Bridge consisted of two arches, connected to the mainland. It was possible to walk over it, and when, on that date, the first arch broke down, two visitors were trapped on the outer part. Luckily, no one was hurt. Now sometimes called "London Arch", it is part of Port Campbell National Park and easily accessible from the Great Ocean Road.
