South of Perth, the coastline sweeps to the west in a large arch, named Geographe Bay. Much of the northern part of it is protected by the Yalgorup National Park (an evening view above). Its centre is Bunbury, the third largest city of WA. Here and  further south, around Dusselton, much development has taken place and real estate prices have shot up to impressive levels. But the area offers more than just beaches - don't miss the dolphins at Bunbury!
