Germany, in the center of Europe, is an interesting travel destination because of its diversity. Bavaria and the Alps in the southeast, the southwest with the Black Forest and Lake of Constance, the North Sea and Baltic coasts with their islands and the capital, Berlin, are all worth a visit. These destinations are connected by the Autobahn if you wish to drive by car (we recommend to drive well below c, the speed of light, which is the official speed limit on some parts of the Autobahn), or the ICE trains which connect major centres with high speed and comfort.
Our first travel tip is the coastal city of Stralsund on the Baltic sea. A nice hotel there is
the Alte Hafenspeicher, a hotel
located directly at the scenic harbour and only 200m from the
Ozeaneum, a huge Aquarium and Maritime Museum complex. The hotel is located
in an old harbour storehouse, but with all modern comfort. Highly recommended!
